DFRWS 2009 is being held in Montreal, Quebec, Canada at the Hotel Delta Centre-Ville. The Delta Centre-ville is located within walking distance of historic Old Montreal and its many restaurants and tourist attractions (the Harbour, Pointe-à-Callieres Archeological Museum, etc.). It is also within walking distance of the business city centre (the "centre ville"), including the colourful Ste-Catherine Street, Eaton Centre, and its many museums.
A block of rooms has been reserved for DFRWS attendees at a discount rate. Details will be provided later.
The nearest airport is Montreal's Trudeau Airport, a 25 minute drive from the Hotel. Taxi ride should costs a flat rate of 38$ and a hotel shuttle is available to and from the airport for 13$. The Hotel is also connected to Montreal's underground city and the subway system (the "Metro").
